Best Shock Spot: Chain into last item set The ending off-road shortcut is huge, so holding triple mushrooms and taking it on multiple laps can really help out here. There’s also a bunch of itemless shortcuts dotted on the track that can be really consistent once learned, so make sure to practice in offline VS mode.
Arriving from Wario's Galleon / Wario Shipyard or Salty Salty Speedway
Track Type: Frontrunning Best Shock Spot: Beginning of final lap You’ll want at least 1 mushroom coming into the final lap to take a shortcut at the beginning (same as regular DK Pass ending shortcut, just reverse). Every shortcut afterwards can be done itemless with relative ease if practiced. The route from Salty Salty Speedway is very popular in 24-player competitive, so I would advice practicing that in offline VS mode.
